Hotel Black Diamond - Inside Airport

We chose this hotel for its convenient location due to our early flight, and it exceeded our expectations! The staff is incredibly welcoming, the restaurant serves delicious food, and the rooms are spotless. Plus, the rooftop offers a unique treat—a fantastic view of the landing lanes.

The location is fantastic, right next to the International airport and a short walk from the domestic airport. Mr. Gaurabmaskey went out of his way to help me, especially with finding my meeting point for my Himalayas scenic flight! Purna helped me with my luggage when I was weak and exhausted from food poisoning. The staff are very kind and helpful!

Convenience, convenience, convenience. I was able to WALK from the international arrival terminal to the hotel within 5 minutes. Appreciated not having to take a taxi into the city in the middle of the night, especially since I had to get on a local flight fairly early the next morning. The Hotel is a bit dated, but some bathrooms have been remodeled and in the rooms there is fake wood flooring (which I prefer over carpet as it can be cleaned better), I did not much care for the small carpet rugs in front of the bed and the entry in the bathroom. At some point the hallway flooring should be redone; those carpets are probably the most ugly and dated part of the hotel. Breakfast was fine. The take-away breakfast box hat hot fried egg, chicken sausage, and potatoes and was MUCH better than what I got from a much more pricey hotel a few days later. Very friendly and competent staff.

We recently stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to the airport, and it proved to be an excellent choice, especially for those looking for a convenient location before or after a flight, or for a brief layover. The hotel is situated just outside the airport, making it incredibly accessible and saving us a lot of travel time. Having stayed in three different hotels in Kathmandu, I can confidently say that this one stands out in its price range. The overall quality and comfort provided here surpassed our previous experiences in the city. One notable feature was the stable and fast Wi-Fi, which is not always a given in many places.

Nothing to complain! Perfectly located to the airport! Considering the traffic in Kathmando it is a perfect option to reach the airport after a 5 minutes walk! All, all the people working here are extremely friendly! A nice experience. The food they are offering is indeed outstanding! In my opinion very close to the traditional food in Nepal with the option to have as well western food, what I didn’t try. I have chosen this Hotel because the short distance to the airport. To go to Thamel you need a taxi, Pashupatina is a 10 minutes walk… Although the airport is close it is not noisy there. Sitting in the area outside was extremely nice, enjoying the nice temperatures and their great service and the nice food!
